Volunteering Opportunities at the Pill Millennium Centre

We are currently looking for volunteers to help out at the Pill Millennium Centre.

Do you have some spare time and some relevant skills to offer?  We are currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to join our team.

Volunteering is a great way to help you gain confidence by giving you the chance to try something new and build a real sense of achievement.  It can also help you to meet people, be part of the community, to learn new skills and to take on a challenge.

The volunteering opportunities currently available include:

  • Recreation Assistant (must be able to work evening and weekend shifts)
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning Assistant (some evening and weekend work required)
  • Grounds Maintenance (maintaining the 3G facility and the outside areas)
  • Building Maintenance (general DIY and repairs, painting and decorating etc)
  • Food Parcel Assistant (Thursday mornings volunteering with the Central Hub team)

  • Informal interview
  • Reference checks
